A special mother I want to be,
for this little boy who belongs to me.
As he looks at me with loving eyes,
he trusts that I'll be strong and wise.
All too soon he'll be full-grown,
this precious boy I call my own,
But 'til then he's mine to hold,
as I watch each stage of life unfold.
I'll do my best in the years to come,
for this little boy that I call "Son."
